Summer
A comfortable walk takes you along the Eisack promenade after approx. 900 meters to the center of the Fugger town of Sterzing with its medieval town center and the beautiful pedestrian zone . Membership in the association "borghi più belli d'Italia" testifies to the beauty of the old town of Vipiteno. Whether Skytrek high ropes course, or rafting tours in the Eisack, summer toboggan run on the Roßkopf, Visiting the nearby Reifenstein castles in Freienfeld and Wolfsthurn with a hunting museum and adventure trail in Mareit, they all guarantee an exciting holiday. The outdoor and indoor swimming pool "Balneum" with sauna area is only a 10-minute walk from your apartment in the sports zone of Sterzing. The Gilfenklamm in Ratschings , and the mine in Ridanna are definitely worth a visit. The imposing mountains of the main Alpine ridge are a paradise for hikers , climbers and nature lovers. The numerous alpine pastures with their hiking trails on the Roßkopf, in Ratschings, Pfitsch and Ladurns leave nothing to be desired. Bolzano and the Ötzi Museum can be reached in an hour by train
Winter
Sterzing and the Wipptal are the ideal place for your winter vacation due to the high snow reliability. Of course, a visit to the traditional Christmas market is not to be missed. The ski area on the Rosskopf offers fun on easy to moderately difficult slopes for the whole family. You can also find one of the longest toboggan runs on the Rosskopf. In Ridnaun you will find the Maiern biathlon center and 50 kilometers of cross-country trails invite you to let off steam. Those looking for peace and quiet can take the cross-country ski run in Pfitsch or Ladurns . The Slopes in Racines can be reached via state-of-the-art lifts and is a family skiing area. A visit to the sauna in the Balneum from Sterzing, only a 10-minute walk from your holiday apartment is a great place to relax after a skiing day.
